The Society was informed August 07, 2006 that it was the recipient of the 2006 Outstanding Society Award for Special Achievement.  Look for additional information to be added to the website detailing the award and the criteria used to determine our Society was deserving of it.

Education Committee Members Volunteer
 
 
On Sunday July 22, 2007, the Education Committee members volunteered for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Scenic Shore 150 Mile Bike Tour.  The tour started in Mequon, WI and traveled to Sturgeon Bay, WI.  Angela Paret and Michelle Simonson assisted at the final destination in Sturgeon Bay, WI.  Both worked setting up food for the 800+ participants, and moved on to the finish line to give out pins to the participants.  It was a beautiful day and a very rewarding experience. Other society members also participated by providing personal donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  A big thanks to all who donated!!!
